Come and join us on the dance floor. |

Line Dance
Etiquette
In some places line dancing is done at the same time as ballroom
dancing and usually the ballroom dancing takes preference. The
line dancers
should
move to either the side or front of the dance floor
so as not to interfere with the ballroom dancers. |
Do
not carry food or drinks across the dance floor. |
Do
not stand and talk on the dance floor when the instructor is showing
a dance routine or
when the music has started. |
Line
dancing is about doing the same steps as everyone else. Do not start
doing a different dance to everyone else. |
If
the floor is crowded then adjust your steps accordingly. |
If
you collide with anyone please apologise even if you think
that it was
not
your fault. |
Do
not try to teach others when a dance is in progress. |
You
will develop your own style but do not go crazy and watch where you
wave your arms and legs. |
Remember that everyone was once a beginner. |
Do not use heavily
scented perfume or after shave as people adjacent may have a problem
with it. |
Keep
your head up, do not look at the floor, keep smiling and enjoy
yourself. |
